WORSHIP IN THE CHURCH

Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord.
Psalm 150:6

How are we worshiping inside the church?

1. Thanks and Praise
Psalms 100:4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name!

2. Reverence
Psalms 95:6 Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the LORD, our Maker!

3. Singing
Psalms 66:4  All the earth worships you and sings praises to you; they sing praises to your name.” Selah

“If you can’t worship Jesus in the church, you won’t worship him out of the church.”

WORSHIP OUTSIDE THE CHURCH

How do we extend our worship after church is over?

1. Giving Honor
My mouth is filled with your praise, declaring your splendor all day long. Psalm 71:8

Hebrews 13:15 “Through him then let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of lips that acknowledge his name.” You are the only church some people will ever see.
2.Treatment of Others Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. My brothers and sisters, this should not be. James 3:10 The highest form of worship is the worship of unselfish Christian service.” Billy Graham 3. Our Thoughts
Ps 104:34 May my meditation be pleasing to him, as I rejoice in the LORD. NIV
Hebrews 13:11-16 Under the old system, the high priest brought the blood of animals into the Holy Place as a sacrifice for sin, and the bodies of the animals were burned outside the camp. So also Jesus suffered and died outside the city gates to make his people holy by means of his own blood. So let us go out to him, outside the camp, and bear the disgrace he bore. For this world is not our permanent home; we are looking forward to a home yet to come. Therefore, let us offer through Jesus a continual sacrifice of praise to God, proclaiming our allegiance to his name. And don’t forget to do good and to share with those in need. These are the sacrifices that please God.
