Since the start of Overflow in 2012, we have longed for the day we would have our own building. As a church, we started purposefully saving to have the money for a down payment and were able to purchase this beautiful historic building in Grand Prairie on March 23, 2023. Even though we are in a new building, we need to raise more funds in order to make the building our home.
Instead of launching a new campaign, we thought it would be best to finish raising the balance on what we started in 2020. This sets our updated goal at $130,000.
For every $1,000 that comes in, we will place a brick in our lobby until we have a pile of 130 bricks. When someone donates $1,000 (in one donation or over time), we will put their name on a plaque that will later go into our church home. (We will also give plaques to those who have already contributed $1,000 in previous years to our building campaign.)
No amount is too small. Even $60 buys a chair for someone to sit in and Encounter Jesus. Will you consider partnering with us to help BUILD THE HOUSE?
